I'm a writer, illustrator, and designer who builds things for brains that don't thrive on vague instructions, endless revisions, or "just trust the process."

My work blends lived experience, dark humor, and practical structure. I'm AUHD (Autistic + ADHD), a full-time caregiver, and I write most of what I write from the same couch where my son does 35+ hours of therapy a week.

Everything I create is for, because of, or inspired by him. Not in the cute, hashtag way. In the I learned how sharp the world can be and decided to become sharper way.

Maternal Menace exists because protecting him means challenging systems, rejecting shame, and refusing the "just try harder" lie. I write dark humor, books, and practical tools for exhausted parents, neurodivergent minds, and people who need honesty more than inspiration.

"And if something needs protecting? I bite."

WHAT I DO

Writing & Content

Words that actually land. For businesses, platforms, and people who want writing that feels human, not optimized to death.

  • Essays and long-form writing
  • Blog posts and editorial content
  • Brand voice and messaging with teeth
  • Neurodivergent-aware copy

Visual & Digital Design

Design that supports the message, not distracts from it. Built for accessibility, readability, and cohesion.

  • Social media graphics
  • Printables and PDFs
  • Simple, functional layouts
  • Book-adjacent visuals

Custom Projects

If your project doesn't fit neatly into a category, that's fine. I take on select custom projects where writing, design, and concept overlap.

  • When clarity and tone matter
  • When the brief is "I know what I need but not how to say it"
  • When boundaries are part of the brief

FIT OR NO FIT

This IS a Good Fit If You:

  • Want clear, grounded writing
  • Respect boundaries and timelines
  • Value lived experience and nuance
  • Understand that accessibility matters

This is NOT a Good Fit If You:

  • Want influencer-style content
  • Expect unpaid emotional labor
  • Need constant urgency or last-minute turnarounds
  • Want "uplifting" without substance

READY TO WORK TOGETHER?

I don't take every project. I take the right ones. If that works for you, start below.

Client work is accepted on a project-by-project basis. I reserve the right to decline work that doesn't align with my capacity, values, or scope.
